Success for all – supporting students into higher education
Monday May 23, 2022
Monday May 23, 2022
At the University of Exeter we’re working to create a fair, socially just and inclusive society, and believe that fair access for all to higher education is fundamental to achieving that. Nicola Sinclair, Head of Widening Participation discusses the work we’re doing to overcome barriers that prevent students from going on to university, and to enable more people from diverse backgrounds to learn, succeed and progress through higher education. While first year MSc Nursing student, Harry Hayes, shares his experience of the University’s Exeter Scholars scheme, and how it helped him find his path to university.
We believe that fair access to higher education improves life opportunities and outcomes for individual students, while benefiting the economy and society as a whole. We’re committed to supporting students from all backgrounds to access, progress and succeed through higher education to ensure they reach their potential at University and as graduates.
